(“BioHarvest” or the “Company”) (CSE: BHSC) Appoints Renowned Astronaut Chris Hadfield to its advisory board as part of a campaign to leverage its biotech technology platform to deliver essential nutrition and active ingredients for space exploration and potential new colonies in space.
Hadfield brings 40 years of scientific experience to the Canadian-Israeli biotechnology company, which has developed and patented a plant biocell technology, called BioFarming, capable of cultivating the active and beneficial plant ingredients on an industrial scale, without the need for cultivate the plant itself.

Hadfield is an assistant professor at the University of Waterloo, advisor to SpaceX and Virgin Galactic, and chairman of the board of the Open Lunar Foundation. He also heads the space arm of the technology incubator Creative Destruction Lab, and is a co-creator and host of television series on the BBC and National Geographic, as well as a 4-time international bestselling author.
